The Help & Hotline is available to all USC faculty, staff and students to ask questions about applicable laws, regulations and university policies that may impact their job duties.
USC has its own police/security force – the Department of Public Safety, known as DPS. DPS officers have a much quicker response time than most local law enforcement, so program these numbers into your phone: (213) 740-4321 - for emergencies or crimes in progress (213) 740-6000 - to report other crimes not in progress or other problems (for example, burglary or lockout)
