Your first day has been designed to ensure that you have a smooth transition into your new role, and help you feel prepared and informed as you begin your career at USC.

Agenda
Your first day will be a full one. You will hear about the history and culture of USC, learn about benefit offerings and commute options, and more. All of which is designed to successfully transition you into your new role.

What to Bring
There are a few important items you need to bring with you on your first day.

Directions
Your orientation will be located on campus in the Tutor Campus Center (TCC). Please check your welcome letter to ensure you go to the right address on your first day.

Building on what was covered during your first day, your second day will encompass the following activities.

Meet Your Buddy
You buddy will be your point of contact for your first 90 days, providing assistance, insight, and information as you acclimate to the university.

Attend Meetings
Your second day will be full of making connections with everyone from your hiring manager to the IT department.

Take a Tour
Bring a comfortable pair of shoes to wear or to change into! As part of your onboarding experience, your second day will include a tour of campus as well as an introduction to your division/school.

Trainings
Complete the recommended trainings on TrojanLearn, Trojan Knowledge Expedition, Thrive 101, and more.

New hire reception
Attend this breakfast reception to network with other new members of the Trojan Family on the first Friday following your date of hire. Check your email for more details.

Have weekly check-ins
In addition to weekly meetings with your manager, you will also be meeting weekly with your assigned buddy.

Experience USC
Fill up your passport by attending various events and programs.
